SYNERGISE - subheadline

On 27 March 2025, SYNERGISE participated in the CERIS Workshop: Solutions for First Responders, held in Brussels, Belgium. Organized by the Community for European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS), the workshop focused on enhancing first responders’ operational capabilities through European research and innovative technologies. It brought together fire services, police, rescue agencies, emergency operators, innovators, and EU policymakers to discuss advancements in search and rescue operations under complex conditions.

Live Demonstration: SYNERGISE Technologies in Action

As part of the event, SYNERGISE showcased its technologies in a live demonstration, where first responders from the Hellenic Rescue Team of Attica (HRTA) and Södertörns brandförsvarsförbund (SBFF) performed a simulated rescue.

During the demonstration, first responders successfully located and rescued a “victim” from the audience while being live-tracked on screen using SYNERGISE solutions:

  • SYSNAV’s Smart Tracker enabled real-time, high-precision localization, ensuring accurate tracking of first responders even in challenging environments.

  • Wearin’’s Smart Vest monitored vital signs and physiological data, enhancing responder safety and operational efficiency.

  • ASTRIAL’s Command and Control Technology facilitated seamless coordination and communication through satellite-based solutions, integrating real-time data for improved decision-making.

This demonstration highlighted the practical applications of SYNERGISE technologies in real-world emergency response scenarios, underlining their potential to enhance first responder effectiveness and safety.
